Research/Creative Interests

Atmospheric, Environmental, and Interfacial Chemistry.

What types of “data” do you commonly use?

I have written a couple programs to do advanced spectral analysis, including baseline subtractions, peak normalization, integration, etc. This is done in Matlab, IgorPro, and Microsoft Excel.

What types of collaborations are you open to?

  • Students
  • Faculty
  • Willing to collaborate on anything related to atmospheric/environmental chemistry and surface science
  • Willing to collaborate on pedagogical projects

Student Qualifications

  •  My lab science experiments are best suited to those majoring in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, and Engineering.
  • My pedagogical projects are open to students of all disciplines and backgrounds, but preferably with some knowledge of statistical analysis.

What agencies, organizations, or foundations do you have experience with to apply for grants?

  • DOE
  • NSF
  • DOEd
  • BWF

More Information

My lab group is a very open and collaborative one. The students are all friends with one another and frequently work together to solve problems. We also do an annual Rizzuto Research Group Dinner where I have the students over my house for a home cooked meal with my family.
