Research/Creative Interests

My research areas span college student experiences on campus and in the classroom; teaching and learning topics more broadly – particularly around contemplative or meditative practices, inclusive and equitable learning, physical campus spaces that promote health, wellbeing, and enhanced learning, and faculty-student mentorship. I am interested in nature exposure – both indoors and outside, urban and rural, digital vs non-digital, real vs fake – and how it impacts human health, wellbeing, their experience with engagement, environmental behaviours, mindfulness, learning, and other factors.

What types of “data” do you commonly use?

I typically use a combination of mixed methods, ranging from document analysis, surveys, and interviews. These are often in combination with an intervention design.

What types of collaborations are you open to?

Student, staff, and faculty
