Research/Creative Interests

I am interested in questions surrounding the freedom of speech and thought, including religious liberty, free speech, civil discourse, the First Amendment, pluralism, multiculturalism, and the ethics of disagreement. I am also broadly interested in the politics and ethics of nature, place, and our interactions with the environment, as well as the ethics of war.
