Research/Creative Interests

As the director of Elon’s health and well-being initiative, HealthEU, my role is to advance research on health and well-being in higher education. Some of my research focuses on a specific dimension of well-being (community, emotional, financial, physical, purpose, social) while other projects approach health and well-being broadly at the policy or practice level.

What types of “data” do you commonly use?

I primarily work with quantitative data, both original research and systematic reviews and meta-analysis. I do some qualitative and mixed methods research as well.

What types of collaborations are you open to?

I am open to supporting students interested in developing their own projects or have students join my ongoing work. I am also interested in collaborating with faculty and staff on multidisciplinary projects.
