Research/Creative Interests
My research focuses on issues of soil health in farming systems, crop selection for increased biodiversity and equity issues in the wider food system.
Research/Creative Needs
I’m looking for students interested in (one or more of the following) farm-field work, community relationship building, experimental design, mixed-method analysis and reviewing relevant research.
Mentoring Style
- One-on-one or in small groups, depending on the project
- I typically collaborate with faculty from other institutions or other experts in the field to mentor students

Student qualifications:
- All majors, interests and experience welcome!
- Students do need to be willing to either spend time outside in the elements OR engage at length outside the Elon University community.
