Research/Creative Interests

I have two prongs of research: First, I explore a range of questions in the area of the scholarship of teaching and learning, including how we can best partner with students to create engaging and inclusive teaching spaces. Second, I explore developmental and cognitive psychological questions focused on meaning making and memory, particularly focused on how children and adolescents make sense of and cope with negative life events.
