SGA Senate Approves Funding Requests and Global Photography Display
ELON, N.C. — The Elon University Student Government Association Senate approved two student organization funding requests and legislation establishing a student global photography display during its Thursday, April 30 meeting.
The Senate approved $6,654.72 for Catholic Campus Ministry’s Beach Retreat by a vote of 28-0 and $8,114 for an event hosted by Please Clap featuring improvisational comedian Terry Withers by a vote of 31-1.
Senators also passed S.B. 26-4.2 by a vote of 32-0. The legislation establishes a display in the Moseley Center featuring photography by Elon students participating in global programs. A slate of Senate committee chair appointments was approved 26-0.
