SGA Senate Approves Greek Dance Funding and Governing Documents
ELON, N.C. — The Elon University Student Government Association Senate approved funding for Greek Dance, amended its constitution and adopted an updated Elections Manual during its Thursday, May 7 meeting.
The Greek Dance funding request passed 31-1 after senators amended the proposal to include required barricades and set marketing expenses at $100. The Senate also approved amendments to the SGA Constitution and the updated Elections Manual, both by votes of 34-0.
Madeline Dolan was appointed as a non-Senate member of the Finance Board, and Aarya Potti was appointed to represent the Class of 2027. Their appointments passed 33-0.
Vice President for Enrollment Greg Zaiser also presented an update on undergraduate enrollment, recruitment initiatives and the growth of Elon’s accelerated and graduate programs.
