Group Exercise

The Group Exercise program offers a variety of classes each semester. The class schedule will remain the same for the duration of each semester. A class is subject to change. When this happens we prioritize instructor substitutions to give you the most similar class experience possible.  Private class opportunities for individual groups, organizations, and departments are arranged based on instructor availability. If you are interested in planning a private class, please email groupexercise@elon.edu. 

HOW TO ATTEND A CLASS

• Purchase a Group Exercise Sticker for $20/year at the Koury front desk
          o If you lose your sticker, please email campusrec@elon.edu
          o We’ll notify you when you can come pick up a replacement sticker
• Download the App IMLeagues or go to www.imleagues.com and create an account using your Elon username
• Registration is required for each class using IMLeagues
• Registration opens 24 hours and closes 30 minutes prior to each class
• Class passes are distributed at the front desk no more than 30 minutes prior to each class
• Entry into a class requires a Phoenix Card, Group Exercise Sticker, and IMLeague registration
• Wait listed members will receive an email notification if a spot has become available
• We encourage all class participants to bring water and a sweat towel to each class

GROUP EXERCISE STUDIO POLICIES

  • Be respectful of other patrons
  • Proper athletic attire must be worn at all times, (jeans, rough material, and midriff bearing clothes are prohibited)
  • Passes are required for all Group Exercise classes
  • Food and gum are prohibited
  • Drinks must be in a sealable container
  • Equipment may only be used with a staff member present
  • All patrons must be 16 years of age or older
  • Staff is not responsible for personal belongings
  • Campus Recreation staff may remove patrons from this area if deemed appropriate
