- Pay Rate: Tier II – starts at $14.00/hour

The Department of Health Promotion supports the Elon community by cultivating the holistic well-being of students through educational programs and initiatives.
Summary of Position
The graphic designer prepares printed materials, t-shirt designs, and other materials to promote Health Promotion facilities, programs, and services.
Learning Practices
Through employment in Health Promotion, the graphic designer will:
- Develop transferrable skills such as teamwork, communication, time management, organization, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Be able to articulate the value of health education in the overall college student experience.
- Have relevant work experience in graphic design that includes portfolio materials
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete print design projects as assigned through the project guide by given deadline
- Develop t-shirt designs for various programs and events
- Work collaboratively with Health Promotion professional staff members and student team leaders to ensure that programs, services, and events are effectively communicated to intended audiences across the campus community
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Health Promotion programs and services
- Foster strong partnerships with other members of the team, as well as pro staff throughout Health Promotion
- Attend all team meetings and trainings
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
