Student Organization Disciplinary Status and Campus Hazing Transparency Report
The Office of Student Conduct maintains student organization records following an incident. In partnership with Office of Student Involvement, the information below provides an overview for the conduct history of Recognized Student Organizations at Elon University. This information allows students to make informed decisions when deciding to join a student organization. The disciplinary status was assigned by the university and the action plan was created in agreement with the organization to support behavioral and organization culture change as it relates to the University violation.
Below you will find information related ALL student organization Code of Conduct violations (including those required by the Stop Campus Hazing Act and serves as our Campus Hazing Transparency Report).
Additional information regarding the student conduct process and disciplinary status can be found in the Student Handbook. Individuals may also contact the Office of Student Conduct (336-278-7271; studentconduct@elon.edu) or visit their office in the Janice Ratliff Building, Suite 102.
Suspended or Unrecognized Organizations
To support the educational integrity of co-curricular activities on campus and to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, Elon University has established expectations, policies, and processes for recognized student organizations. When an organization or group has had its university recognition denied, suspended, or withdrawn, students and student organizations are prohibited from affiliating with this group. Examples of affiliation include, but are not limited to: joining, accepting an offer of membership, or hosting social activities with the group.
Please refer to the Student Handbook for the complete Affiliation Policy and Outcomes.
