Academic Programs

Elon University’s School of Health Sciences includes graduate programs in Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies, a Sports Physical Therapy Residency, and a four-Year Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. Students in our Accelerated Pathways Program are Elon undergraduates who have been accepted into a fast-track 3.5+ program and can matriculate directly into PA or PT during their senior year.

Students in the School of Health Sciences collaborate inside and outside the classroom. Interprofessional learning opportunities are embedded into the curriculum and afford future healthcare providers the opportunity to articulate their unique role on healthcare teams, understand the roles of other healthcare professionals, and collaborate to provide optimal patient care. Undergraduate students in health-related professions and students from local colleges and universities are invited to participate in interprofessional events.

Students also work together in co-curricular pursuits, including community outreach through the Health Outreach Program at Elon (H.O.P.E. Clinic) and the Open-Door Clinic of Alamance CountyGlobal Learning Opportunities, inclusive excellence initiatives and social events with graduate students from across the university.
