Pre-SERVE

June 24th-29th, 2012

Pre-Serve is one of Elon’s Freshman Summer Experience (FSE) programs, designed to provide incoming freshmen the opportunity to meet other first-year Elon students while engaging in exciting, new activities. Pre-Serve participants have the unique chance to get to know the surrounding Burlington community before arriving on campus in the fall through doing service at a variety of agencies. In past years, Pre-Servers have worked to build houses with Habitat for Humanity, assisted with therapeutic riding lessons at Kopper Top Life Learning Center, worked with kids at Boys and Girls Club, and served meals to the hungry at Allied Churches. Participants also get the experience of living on campus for the week of Pre-Serve, acquainting themselves with the campus through a variety of social activities with their fellow participants.

Acceptance into Pre-Serve is on a first-come, first-served basis, so submit your registration form early! Registration forms are available as early as January; you will receive a brochure for all FSE programs with your acceptance packet or can email esmall@elon.edu for more information.
