Career & Internship Tools for Music Majors

An All-Steinway School, the Department of Music at Elon University fosters a rigorous and creative learning environment, engaging, educating and inspiring
students for lifelong fulfillment through music. We provide a nurturing, innovative, and artistically rich learning community that embraces diverse
musical genres and challenges the pursuit of excellence and academic rigor in scholarship, performance, and creative activity, empowering our students for
meaningful contributions in their chosen profession.

Proactive career development takes place with faculty mentors in the department and through early and ongoing engagement with the Student Professional Development Center (SPDC), the valuable services of which can be found here. We encourage you to take regular advantage of the SPDC beginning with your first day on campus.
