Join the GLC in celebrating our trans students, faculty, staff, and community members. Whether you identify as trans, have loved ones who identify as trans, are still figuring things out, or are an ally, please join us in showing support for the trans community and helping raise awareness of the injustices still faced by many trans people today.
Wednesday, November 20th, 5-7 pm- Community Dinner and Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil- TDOR is a time to remember those who were taken from us by violence. We will host a vigil and a reading of the names of all those lost to anti-trans violence in 2019. Please come out to show support, especially if you consider yourself an ally. This is a day to reflect on how our society can do better, and what we will do to make that happen. No trans person should have to move through the world with fear. Please join the GLC and other campus partners for a vigil at 5 pm and then for a community dinner after at the Lakeside Long Table.
