The Office of Sustainability is accepting applications for a Green Building Education intern for the 2013-2014 academic year. See below for position details and application instructions.
This position is for the 2013-2014 academic year. The intern will be expected to work 10 to 15 hours a week. Specific daily work hours will be flexible. The position is paid with a per semester stipend. Academic credit may be available, depending upon degree program requirements. The interns will work closely with the Director of Sustainability, the Education and Outreach Coordinator, other Office interns and the Eco-Reps (student peer educators for sustainability).
This intern will help educate the campus and greater community about sustainable design and construction practices and their benefits through the development of educational materials. The primary responsibility of this intern is to create educational materials such as pamphlets, information sheets, green living guides (for residential buildings), web site content, tour guide scripts, etc. for the green buildings being built on campus, which are pursuing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
