To enhance their career preparation, more than 80 percent of Elon students complete an internship before graduating.
Seventy-one percent of Elon students study abroad at least once before graduating. Elon is a recipient of the Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization from NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
Nearly 90 percent of Elon students participate in community service, contributing more than 90,000 hours of volunteer work each year. For the second year in a row, Elon has been named one of the country's top universities for community service, earning a spot on the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
