In keeping with Elon’s initiative to assist students’ transition to life beyond Elon, Transition Strategies (COE 310) courses are offered to help students develop personal, interpersonal, and organizational skills -- and to prepare them to make informed choices about careers and/or graduate/professional school. These one-credit, elective courses are offered during Winter Term, the first or last half of a semester, or throughout an entire semester. Some of the courses have specific themes or are geared toward specific majors or career paths; others are general career development classes. The courses are taught by faculty and staff in partnership with the Office of Career Services and supported by staff in our office.
Students can register for one of these courses during the regular pre-registration and registration time periods by looking under Cooperative Education (COE) as the subject and 310 as the course number on OnTrack to find the Transition Strategies course that fits their needs.
