Join us on Saturday, Oct. 11 (10 a.m.–1 p.m.) during Homecoming 2025 as we celebrate the Maker Hub’s 10th birthday! Stop by Maker Hub – Colonnades in Allen Hall to explore the space, enjoy birthday cake, and make Elon-themed crafts. Then head over to Maker Hub – Downtown to try hands-on projects, grab custom swag, and test your skills in our space-themed escape room. We can’t wait to celebrate, create, and share 10 years of making with you! Alumni, employees, and current students are welcome. Alumni should register through Homecoming 2025.

New 3D Printers at the Maker Hub

The Maker Hub just got an upgrade! Both our Downtown and Colonnades spaces now have new 3D printers that are faster, more reliable, and produce even better prints. We’ve also updated our 3D printer training with easy-to-follow instructions for the new machines, so you can jump in and start creating right away.

Great! Grab a friend and visit a Maker Hub location. If you need something to make, stop by Downtown and create a personalized magnetic sign or visit either location and ask for help making a vinyl sticker. We’re staffed by students who love helping people make things.

And if you want to get trained on our advanced tools like laser engravers, sewing machines, and 3D printers, visit the Maker Hub’s Moodle site.
