René Jackson has been with Career Services since the fall of 2007. She serves as the lead office resource for Elon students interested in attending graduate school. She meets with students individually and in groups to discuss graduate school options and opportunities and advises them as needed through the application process. She assists grad school-bound upperclassmen in the development of well-crafted resumes/CVs and personal statements, but works with students in all years and all majors on document preparation and job/internship search strategies as well.
René administers and interprets career and personality assessments (MBTI, Strong, SQ) to help students identify personal strengths and explore potential career pathways, and does both individual and group presentations on these topics; she serves on the Health Professions Advisory Committee, teaches an Elon 101 class each fall and is the director of the PACE program at Elon University.
