Kim Giles

Resources and Communications Coordinator

Kim manages front office operations and leads a team of Student Ambassadors who assist the Student Professional Development Center in achieving its strategic goals. Kim collaborates with staff to coordinate internal and external media and marketing that promote its resources and services to targeted constituent audiences. Kim also leads its social media marketing initiatives that promote employer events, programs, presentations and workshops. 

Kim arrived at Elon in 1994 and has more than 19 years of varied experiences working and consulting with higher education administrators to develop and execute programs meeting university wide goals.

  • Kim and her husband Dan have a blended family and enjoy spending time with them as often as possible. Kim enjoys painting, playing cards, board games, flower arranging, and pottery. She delights in outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, skiing and kayaking. Additionally, Kim has a deep interest in personal fitness and loves to seek out great finds at antique festivals, thrift stores and sales.
