Elon Career Services offers resources to help students and alumni plan their career path. Professional staff members assist students with:

  • Self-assessment (exploring interests, skills, values, and personality preferences as related to career choice)
  • Exploration of internship opportunities
  • Choice of majors
  • Decisions about career and graduate school plans 
  • Creation of an action plan to help secure employment or graduate school admission

Elon Career Services is now specialized, with career advisors dedicated to each school: Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, and Communications.

  • Elon Job Network - online resource for job and internship searches
  • E-Leads - database of contacts for job and internship searches with a Liberal Arts emphasis
  • Elon Mentor Network - network of alumni, parents and friends of Elon who assist with exploration of career options and finding internships and jobs. It is accessed through the Elon Job Network.
  • Perfect Interview/Resume - online mock interview resource to assist students with interview preparation, as well as resume development
  • Going Global – resource to assist students with gathering information about international professional opportunities, culture, and the job search process
  • Transitions Strategies Courses -  courses that focus on career preparation and life beyond Elon
  • Lifetime Alumni assistance
