School of Health Sciences
The School of Health Sciences presently hosts just our Nursing major at the undergraduate degree level. Established in 2021, the Department of Nursing was designed to create a new and progressive generation of nurse leaders. Our students have the opportunity to work directly with current healthcare providers in this field while also learning advanced technology. The goal is to produce not just Nurses but leaders who contribute to a community filled with people who are living healthier, longer, and fuller lives.
Students interested in Nursing should use the Nursing 4-Year B.S.N. Curriculum website as their guide.
Students admitted into the Nursing program will be pre-enrolled in all first semester classes required in their program. You will also attend a small group virtual advising meeting co-hosted with a Nursing faculty member and a professional advisor from the Office of Academic Advising.
Other students interested in Nursing can use the curriculum as a guide and are referred the department for further questions. We recommend you attend one of the Virtual Advising sessions for Health Professions.
