Student Involvement is committed to providing student-centered activities, educational experiences, and leadership development opportunities that engage students through meaningful campus involvement. They help foster opportunities for positive interactions, connecting the campus community, and encouraging learning to enhance the social, physical, intellectual, and cultural development of students. Further, the Student Involvement Ambassadors help students get connected to the many opportunities and events in the Elon community. This team of student leaders serves as an extension of Student Involvement and assists students 1:1 in getting connected and involved on campus year-round! My student needs support with their housing assignment or selection. Who should I reach out to?
Residence Life supports students’ holistic development by integrating academic, social and residential experiences, developing dynamic, inclusive, and intellectual living communities, and encouraging students’ growth as active global citizens. Students who live on campus are closer to their classes, the library, computer labs and other facilities. Campus residents are more involved in student organizations and often have higher GPAs. Who can I contact regarding my student's academic advising or accommodations?
The Koenigsberger Learning Center (KLC) was created to center student academic support at the heart of the academic campus, and lead the campus in proven methods to enhance, scaffold, and support the learning process. They support various offices including academic advising, academic accommodations and accessibility, Elon 1010, and learning assistance.
The Office of Academic Advising serves the Elon community by partnering with students to offer holistic, student-centered academic advising which focuses on self-advocacy, degree attainment, and life as a global citizen. Contact their office at academicadvising@elon.edu or (336) 278-6500.

How does Elon support my student's professional development?
The Student Professional Development Center (SPDC) supports the mission, academic programs, and advancement of Elon University. The Elon SPDC assists students and alumni in understanding their career-related interests, individual preferences, strengths, and values. They aid students in understanding how to conduct an effective internship, job, or graduate program search, for the ultimate purpose of pursuing meaningful careers over a lifetime. Who do I contact with questions about tuition or financial aid?
Student Financial Services, formerly known as the Bursar’s Office, handles the billing and payment processes including tuition payments, managing student account balances, issuing refunds, and offering payment options. Who provides medical care to my Elon student on campus?
Student Health Services partners with Cone Health-Alamance Regional to provide comprehensive medical care for enrolled students, including evaluation and treatment of illness and injury. Students can make an appointment online with MyChart. Contact their office at (336) 278-7230.
Additionally, Elon University has partnered with TimelyCare to provide free health and well-being resources to all students. TimelyCare provides virtual access to medical and mental health services anywhere in the U.S., 24/7 at no cost to students. This comprehensive platform supports your well-being with flexible, confidential services accessible from any web-enabled device — including your student’s phone, laptop, or desktop.
Are there mental health counselors available on campus?
Yes! Counseling Services offers high-quality mental health care that supports the holistic well-being of Elon’s diverse student community through clinical services, outreach, and prevention. Their office fosters a safe, inclusive environment where students are supported and empowered to thrive during their time at Elon and beyond. My student is facing significant and complex concerns affecting their academic and personal success at Elon. Who can I reach out to?
The Office of Student Care and Outreach collaborates with campus and community partners to provide outreach and support networks for students experiencing significant and complex challenges affecting their dimensions of well-being. Support efforts include coordinating individualized, one-on-one developmental meetings with students focusing on resource education and connection, personal self-reflection, and empowerment in navigating obstacles. The Office of Student Care and Outreach is a non-clinical office that gathers information about the student of concern, assesses severity and current needs, and creates an individualized constellation of support resources to help the student overcome challenges and achieve goals. What can you share about safety on campus?
Campus Safety and Police offers patrol, crime prevention, security staff, and support to all members of the Elon community. Their department is committed to providing excellent police protection and fostering a secure atmosphere on Elon’s campus. Their mission is to ensure that Elon’s campus is safe and enjoyable for all who live, study, and work here. Campus Safety and Police can be reached at (336) 278-5555 and are open 24 hours/7 days per week.
Campus Safety and Police encourages all Elon University community members to download the RAVE Guardian Safety App. RAVE gives users two-way communication direct to Campus Safety & Police. Students and employees can share information anonymously (if desired) through text, photo, or video directly from their smart phones. Additionally, app users can receive important broadcast notifications sent by the Campus Safety and Police. With a built-in Safety Timer feature, students are able to invite others to “virtually escort” them by monitoring their location on a map.
Additionally, Elon’s E-Alert notification system enables officials to send urgent news to your cell phone. Elon can text your cell phone and email you timely information about emergencies, class cancellations and important weather updates. To receive these emergency messages, you must include your cell phone number in your OnTrack user profile.
