North Carolina Junior Elon Scholars

Elon University is proud to recognize North Carolina high school juniors for superior academic achievement and exceptional involvement areas which are highly valued as part of an Elon education.

To qualify for selection, students must meet the following requirements:

  • An “A” average and a combined critical reading, math, and writing SAT score of 1900 or higher on the SAT, or a score of 29 or higher on the ACT. Students who have not taken the SAT on or before January 26, 2013 or the ACT on or before December 18, 2012 may submit PSAT scores of 190 or higher or a PLAN score of 29 or higher to be considered.  An official SAT score of 1900 of ACT of 29 must be submitted in order to retain any scholarship awarded.
  • Achievement in one or more of the following areas: an academic area of interest, leadership, community service, international or intercultural experiences, the arts, athletics, or entrepreneurial endeavors.

The North Carolina Junior Elon Scholars application deadline is February 10.
