Fellows Program
The Elon Fellows programs are selective, four-year programs
that offer academically talented students exciting advantages
like special courses, guaranteed internships, paid research
assistantships, faculty mentoring, grants for study abroad
and Fellows scholarships.

Engineering Scholarships
Elon's 3-2 engineering
program offers students the distinctive opportunity to
study engineering for three years at Elon and two years at an
engineering school. Graduates receive B.S. degrees from each
institution. Students at Elon may major in engineering
chemistry, engineering physics, engineering mathematics,
environmental studies/environmental engineering or computer
science/engineering.
Students who plan to enroll in Elon's engineering
program can also apply for one of the merit-based
scholarships. Four scholarships of $3,500 each are awarded
annually to incoming freshmen based on academic performance
and potential. These scholarships are in addition to any
Presidential Scholarship a student might receive.

Presidential Scholarships
Presidential Scholarships of up to $4,500 annually are
awarded to approximately the top one-fourth of entering
freshmen each year. The awards are based on high school
course selection, class rank, grades and SAT/ACT scores. No
separate application is needed. Scholarships are
automatically awarded to students who meet the necessary
criteria when the completed admissions application is
reviewed. Presidential Scholarships are renewable each year
pending acceptable academic performance.
Performing Arts Scholarships
Students majoring in theatre arts (acting), music theatre,
or theatrical design and production can apply for
talent-based scholarships ranging from $500 to $6,000
annually. The department interview/audition automatically
places students in consideration for these talent-based
awards. Scholarships are renewable annually based on
acceptable academic performance. Contact the Department of

Music Scholarships
Students who major in music, music education, music
performance or music technology can compete for talent- and
need-based scholarships. Band scholarships are available to
both music and non-music majors. A limited number of choral
activities scholarships are available for music and non-music
majors who audition and are chosen to sing in Elon's
vocal jazz ensemble. The scholarships range from $500 to
$5,000 annually. Contact the Department of Music at

ROTC Scholarships
The U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force award three or
four-year ROTC scholarships, which cover the cost of tuition
and books. Elon provides ROTC scholarship recipients
with free on-campus housing and board during the time
the ROTC scholarship pays tuition. Please contact your high
school guidance office for application information.
Athletics Scholarships
Performance-based scholarships are awarded in all
intercollegiate sports in compliance with NCAA regulations
and guidelines. Amounts vary. Contact the Office of
