Psychology Student Advising Mentors

Meet Grace C.

My name is Grace C., and I am a Psychology major with minors in Criminal Justice Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies. I selected my major because I have always been interested in how people think and see the world based on their past experiences. I selected my minors because I am interested in studying how the criminal justice system affects people psychologically, and having knowledge about different genders and sexualities is important. I am a member of Alpha Chi Omega, an Office Assistant in Inman Admissions, and a part of undergraduate research. One fun fact about me is that I love the Jersey Shore and use it as my background noise when studying!

Meet Nick D.

Hey! My name is Nick D. and I am a psychology major with minors in biology and neuroscience. Psychology has been an interest of mine since high school, and I’ve always enjoyed trying to understand how people think and the reasons behind why people do what they do. The science behind psychology is a super fascinating field as well, which is why I chose those 2 minors. I am currently involved in undergraduate research in the organizational psychology domain, and outside of school things I work at the tech service desk on campus, and I am the vice president of Rip_Chord a cappella.

Meet Sophie K.

My name is Sophie Kronenberger, and I’m a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana,  majoring in psychology and minoring in French. I’ve always been passionate about adolescent mental health awareness amidst the growing mental health crisis, in addition to great interest in early-childhood interventions. I want to be able to make a difference for school-age children, which is why I am planning to pursue a doctorate in school psychology following graduation. Apart from psychology, I’ve studied French for the past seven years — three of those being here at Elon — and just recently returned from a semester abroad in Paris!  A fun fact about me: This November, I’ll be traveling with my Wilderness / Adventure Therapy class to Peru to hike the Inca Trail. We will end our five-day trek at Machu Picchu!
