Editing and Proofreading are important parts of the writing process–this task examines the surface level stylistic and linguistic elements of your writing. Editing and proofreading are not the same as revising, which takes a look at aspects of your work like organization, transitions, audience, purpose, among other things. WC Consultants in the Center for Writing Excellence will help writers identify and edit their own writing.
