Tours built around your interests
Campus tours provide an excellent overview of what it’s like to be a student at Elon. School and department tours give prospective students a closer look at academic programs, facilities and faculty within a specific area of interest. You’ll explore spaces where learning happens, hear how programs connect to internships and careers and get a clearer sense of how your interests could take shape at Elon.
Art
Explore studios, Gallery 406 and exhibition spaces at Arts West where the Department of Art is located. Meet professors and learn more about Elon’s art majors and minors, including digital art, photography and interdisciplinary expressive art.
Biology
Tour the Department of Biology and experience what it’s like to be a student in a classroom or a lab. There are opportunities for you in undergraduate research, off-campus experiences and research seminars that encourage creative approaches to biological problems.
Chemistry/Biochemistry
Tour the Department of Chemistry and learn about the state-of-art technology you’ll use while earning your degree. Work closely with faculty in undergraduate research to explore an array of topics. Your work will be showcased at local and national scientific conferences.
Computer Science
Visit the Department of Computer Science and learn more about Elon’s computer science degrees as well as minors offered, including game design, cybersecurity and data science. Explore the carpenter and robotics labs.

Music Production and Recording Arts
Tour Arts West where the music production and recording arts program is housed. Explore production studios with 32-channel analog mixing consoles, the live room used for tracking larger groups and a lab with iMac digital audio stations.
Nursing
Tour the Gerald L. Francis Center, home of the Department of Nursing. Visit virtual- and mixed-reality technology suite and the Interprofessional Simulation Center, where you can practice hands-on clinical skills using medical manikins.
School of Communications
Explore the School of Communications. Visit a virtual studio, control rooms, student newsroom, video editing suite, audio recording studio, a media sandbox, a 220-seat movie theater and other engaging spaces.
World Languages and Cultures
