Graduate Student Leadership Resources

Developing leadership skills is critical for your professional development at Elon and beyond. Your time as a graduate student is the perfect opportunity to advance your skills. Here are some opportunities Elon’s Center for Leadership can provide resources for you to help with your personal and professional growth:
  • StrengthsFinder Assessment and Coaching Sessions

    • We’d love to connect with you if you’ve taken the CliftonStrengths instrument and have questions or want to dig deeper into what your strengths mean, and how to use this information as a leader, employee, team member, etc.  Email Olivia Brown at obrown10@elon.edu to schedule an appointment.
  • Intersect Conference

    • Save the Date: January 21, 2026 for our annual leadership and diversity education event open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. This year, we are honored to welcome Spirit Tawfiq as our keynote speaker. Spirit is the daughter of Minnijean Brown-Trickey, one of the Little Rock Nine—the courageous group of students who integrated Little Rock Central High School in 1957. Through her storytelling and leadership work, Spirit carries forward her mother’s powerful legacy of resilience, justice, and healing. The Intersect Diversity and Leadership event provides a unique opportunity for our community to reflect, connect, and engage in meaningful dialogue about identity, leadership, and social change.
