Elon University Executive Education designs
customized solutions to help organizations
develop strong leadership and focus on
strategic issues. Programs are tailored through
a collaborative partnership process with the
client company to achieve desired business
outcomes.
Tailored programs may concentrate on topics
such as building effective teams, improving
communication, or initiating and managing
changes in company culture. The
programs provide an environment for
executives and managers to develop a unified
perspective of the company's vision or
direction. Elon University is a national leader
in engaged learning, a teaching philosophy that
emphasizes students taking an active role in
learning through simulations, case studies, and
problem-solving scenarios that draw on real
life experiences.
The Partnership Process
An Elon University Executive Education team
will be dedicated to work closely with
your executive team to insure that program
design and delivery meet your business
goals.
Business Evaluation – Together we will
explore the challenges your business faces in
meeting its business objectives, your industry,
factors necessary for business success, and
opportunities to gain a competitive
advantage.
Needs Analysis – Focus groups may be
held with executives, departmental managers,
human resource professionals, and potential
participants to define critical needs,
audiences, objectives and outcomes for the
program.
Program Design – Elon's team will
work with the client company to develop program
content tailored to meet the client's
objectives. The program draft will be submitted
for the client's review and feedback. Once
final approval is received, the Executive
Education staff will schedule the program and
coordinate delivery.
Program Delivery – Programs may be
delivered on the Elon Campus, at the
client's site if facilities exist, or at
another appropriate location such as a
conference center. The Ernest A. Koury Sr.
Business Center houses the LabCorp Suite for
Executive Education , providing an ideal venue
for such programs. Instructors may include Elon
faculty, industry experts, business leaders and
consultants, as well as company personnel,
depending on the content and design of the
program.

Evaluation and Follow-up
– Elon University Executive
Education's staff are on hand throughout
the program to ensure fulfillment of design
objectives and expectations. Following each
program, participants are asked to evaluate the
program's effectiveness. Participants are
asked to evaluate the program's value to
the company and the anticipated application of
knowledge to on-the-job performance. Follow-up
is also conducted with the client's
executive team to review the impact of the
program and return on investment.
