William J. Burpitt, associate professor of
business administration, has produced,
directed, and managed radio and television
stations. He received a bachelor's degree
from the University of Georgia, and a doctorate
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. He taught at Peace College and Meredith
College before coming to Elon. At Meredith, he
served as the MBA Director. During the past
three years, he has either published or had
accepted for publication six refereed journal
articles.

Michaela
Walker,
Program Assistant, is a primary point of
contact for registration and
administration of executive education programs
as well as other Love School of Business
events. Michaela has a wealth of customer
service and public relations experience at
companies including Citicorp, the South
Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) and N.C.
Global TransPark Authority. She graduated
from East Carolina university with a degree in
Communications.
