REQUIRED: Interview and seminar response essay are required for competition. All students will need to be on campus through 3:30 pm on March 9. Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements. We are unable to alter the weekend schedule.
DRESS: Business Casual. Be comfortable. Suits and ties are not required; however, jeans and T-shirts are not appropriate.

WRITING ASSIGNMENT: As a part of your seminar, you will be asked to write a response paper related to the topic discussed. This is an impromptu assignment that will be used by Fellows directors as part of the overall evaluation of each applicant.
NOTE: All Elon students, regardless of major, take courses in Elon’s General Studies program.
These courses provide a Liberal Arts foundation for all academic disciplines.
Fellows & Scholarship Weekend seminars are representative of the General Studies curriculum,
and are taught by faculty from various disciplines. Fellows candidates may or may not be scheduled for a seminar in their intended discipline.
Honors Fellows candidates must have a teacher recommendation submitted on their behalf by March 9 to Sonya Sienerth, Admissions data and research manager, 2700 Campus Box, Elon, NC 27244. This letter should specifically address the candidate’s suitability to the rigor of the Honors Fellows program.
Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows candidates must have a recommendation letter from a mentor submitted on their behalf by March 9 to Sonya Sienerth, Admissions data and research manager, 2700 Campus Box, Elon, NC 27244. Download the form at www.elon.edu/leadershipapp.
Engineering Scholarship candidates must have two letters of recommendation from teachers, one of whom must be a teacher in mathematics, the sciences or computer sciences, submitted on their behalf by March 9 to Sonya Sienerth, Admissions data and research manager, 2700 Campus Box, Elon, NC 27244.
