Every second Sunday of the month the Truitt Center hosts a monthly zanzenat 10am in the Rinzai Zen tradition. The Zen practice session includes chanting, sitting meditation, walking meditation, and a dharma talk led by ordained Rinzai master Osho Sandy Gentei Stewart, with assistance from Professor Barbara Gordon. The session is followed by tea.

 

The Buddhist Association on campus offers several events throughout the year that engage diverse forms of Buddhist teaching and practice.

 

Iron Tree Blooming is Elon's meditation club that has weekly sits focused on zen meditation and practice.

 

Prayer rooms in the Numen Lumen pavilion that can be used for daily prayer or practice

 

Multi-faith prayer spaces that can be reserved by different groups for regular use or for special occasions/holidays
