Elon Sports Vision

Prepare for your career in the sports broadcasting industry
Sports broadcasting involves far more than simple game coverage and analysis. And with the evolution of digital media and niche outlets, there are more opportunities than ever for individuals interested in sports media, broadcasting and production.
Our Elon Sports Vision Scholars program is a selective merit-based initiative in which students gain immersive and hands-on experience with Elon’s NCAA Division I Athletic Department in live broadcasting, content creation, sports business and marketing, in-venue productions and studio shows. Scholars receive a $5,000 annual scholarship. The Scholars application opens February 1, 2026. The application deadline is April 15, 2026. For more information on how to apply, visit our Honors, Fellows and Scholars Programs page.
Launched in 2017, Elon Sports Vision (ESV) produces “Elon Phoenix Weekly,” a sports magazine show, and “One on One Sports,” a sports debate talk show.
