What do you like best about your job?

Considering Credit Suisse is a global bank, I love having the opportunity to work closely with my teammates worldwide. The exposure to different cultures and ideas within my group allows us to make strategic solutions efficiently that are appropriate for the bank.

What have you been up to since graduating?

I started working for Credit Suisse in Raleigh shortly after I graduated in 2014. I decided to take a job with the company in New York in early 2016 and have been enjoying the Big Apple ever since!

How did the Love School of Business prepare you for your career?

I really appreciate how the Love School of Business brought a very realistic approach to working in a business environment. Each class allowed me the opportunity to work in a group environment, which was very transferable to joining a team for work. I also found the emphasis on building Excel, public speaking and PowerPoint skills extremely beneficial from day one of my job at Credit Suisse.

How did Elon’s liberal arts curriculum help strengthen your understanding of your business major and your overall educational experience?

I’ve always felt the common denominator of all Elon students is that they are adaptable and well-rounded. Having a liberal arts curriculum strengthened my business major understanding by exposing me to different points of view of what would be a standard decision making process in the business world.

What did you enjoy most about being a Love School of Business student?

I thoroughly enjoyed the professors and the amount of time and effort they put into the curriculum. It was apparent that the professors wanted us to succeed and would put in the time to ensure their students had the necessary tools to do so.

What advice do you have for current Love School of Business students?

1. The group projects can be frustrating at times but they will be prepare you for the future.

2. Never lose track of your Elon family and the networking/life-long connections you build at Elon.

3. Start your senior thesis early—seriously.
