Living-Learning Community Information
Application Process
- Students who currently belong to a Living-Learning Community (LLC), which has spaces for upperclass students, and wish to return to that LLC or any LLC must re-apply.
- Any student may apply for an LLC provided that LLC has spaces for non-first year students.
- The LLC application questions are part of the general ‘Housing Application’ and students will be prompted to complete those questions as they apply. Specific due dates for the LLC application can be found on our Housing Selection timeline.

- For more information, students and parents are welcome to attend a Returning Student LLC Information Session on zoom:
- Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 at 6 p.m. (Eastern Time)
- Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 at 4 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Assignments
Students will be notified if they’ve been accepted to an LLC according to the Housing Selection timeline. Students not accepted into a learning community will need to participate in general housing selection processes. Once you have been accepted to a Living-Learning Community, this is your final assignment for the academic year. You will be unable to go through any other portion of housing selection once you are accepted into an LLC. Please be sure you are willing to commit to the community before you apply.
