Alumni play a vital role in the School

Communications alum Patrick Singleton, a Winter Olympian in the luge who also works with Bloomberg News, returned to Elon to visit with students, faculty and Advisory Board members.

School of Communications alumni are a key element in the Elon network, offering continuing support to the university's programs. After they depart Elon in caps and gowns through that smiling, high-fiving tunnel of professors and mentors, Elon never leaves them and they never leave Elon. They return to offer their expertise in classes; they offer current students jobs and internships; they invite students to visit and tour through the facilities of their professional communications organizations; they keep in touch with their faculty mentors.

If you would like to read more about how alumni including Pulitzer winner Jo Craven are making a difference by giving their time and energy to helping Elon students and faculty, please take some time to read the School of Communications' online newsletter, Connections. The online newsletter is also the place where you will find recent updates on Elon graduates.  Journalism and Communications graduates are also active on Elon's social networking website E squared.  You can find a link on our home page.

We are always pleased to hear from you! Please share the latest details about your personal and professional achievements, so your friends and mentors can keep up to date about your life and remain in touch with you. Contact the School of Communications directly if you want your information update to run in the Connections online newsletter.
