At the heart of any worship, religious or spiritual
experience is sacred space. The Truitt Center for Religious
and Spiritual Life not only offers spaces useful as places of
spiritual growth and formation, but spaces that are useful
for productive group meetings and work. You may reserve
these spaces either through the R25 Scheduling System or by
calling the Truitt Center at 336-278-7729.

The Truitt Center is a home converted
into an office, work, and programming space. In addition to
housing the Chaplain's office, the Truitt Center also
includes offices for the Assistant Chaplain and Director of
Religious Life as well as the Jewish Chaplain, InterVarsity
Minister and Catholic Campus Minister.
During the day, the Oasis offers a comfortable meditation
and prayer space. In the evening hours, it is a
popular meeting space for small groups and programs. The room
includes a tv/dvd/vcr which may be used for programming
needs. The Oasis offers a little rest and relaxation
from the busy world of Elon.
The Truitt Center's Conference Room accommodates up to
twelve people in a setting which lends itself to group
interaction and productivity. Housed in the Truitt
Center, it is a quiet space making it easier to focus and
concentrate from the bustle of the main campus.

Holt Chapel is a historic building
which recently became part of Elon's campus. A stately
steeple tops this red-brick chapel which is the host of a
myriad of events ranging from weddings to large organization
meetings. Formerly part of Elon Homes for Children, Holt
Chapel holds up to 120 in its main meeting room, with an open
group space on the lower floor. chairs available for
your set-up and tables can be reserved as well.
This cozy, all-stone fire ring is perfect for group
gatherings and fun times around a crackling camp-fire.
S'mores are not included with the
reservation! Located at the Elon Lodge just
a short distance from campus. Travel west on Haggard
Avenue toward Gibsonville. Drive past Elon West and
turn right on Moonelon Street. Follow the winding road
toward the gravel parking lot. The Fire Circle is
located between the open shelter and the pond. Feel
free to collect wood that has been stacked along the trails
for use in the Fire Circle.
