Strategic Communications explores the process and techniques for how an organization communicates with its many publics. The organization may be corporate, nonprofit or governmental, and the forms of communication include public relations and advertising.

A Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Strategic Communications requires 52 credit hours in Communications, plus the 2-hour GST 115 Public Speaking course and a 4-hour business course. Students must complete a minimum of 72 credit hours outside of Communications, including an academic minor or double major or a semester abroad in an Elon-approved program.
