The Start of Your Journey to the Legal Profession

Dear Members of the Class of 2025:

Welcome to Elon University School of Law!

On behalf of the Office of Career & Student Development (OCSD), I am excited to welcome you as you embark on the exciting and challenging journey that is legal education! While law school will be unlike any other academic program you have completed, it is an incredibly rewarding experience. The world does, in fact, need more lawyers, and the students who pass through these doors each year are both inspiring and dedicated to creating a better society, based on the rule of law, for all people. But few journeys can be taken alone – to be successful in law school you WILL need support and guidance. OCSD has a talented and dedicated team who are ready and excited to guide you on your path to the profession, and the Student Mentors are here to ensure that your transition is smooth.
