Program Benefits

Scholarships: Honors Fellows enrolling fall 2008 receive an $8,000 scholarship renewable annually based on academic performance and participation in the program. This is in addition to a Presidential Scholarship ranging from $4,000 - $4,500. Each year one Honors Fellows is selected as the William R. Kenan, Jr. Honors Fellow and receives a full tuition scholarship.

Also, two $3,000 Jane Macon Baird scholarships will be awarded each year to either Honors or Elon College Fellows who intend to go to medical school and who design their undergraduate curriculum to support that goal. These scholarships are renewable annually, provided students meet the criteria for the scholarship. A special essay is required for consideration for the Baird Scholarships.
