Program Benefits

Scholarships:

Seven Fellows will be awarded scholarships valued at $4,000 to $4,500, which are renewable annually as long as the student remains a Fellow in good standing. This is in addition to any Presidential Scholarship received.

Real Investment Experience:

During their senior year, Business Fellows divide into two groups—a portfolio management team and a consulting team.

• The portfolio management team manages part of the university's endowment. Team members enter a national competition for student-managed portfolios and have placed first and second in this competition in recent years.
• The consulting team conducts various consulting projects for Elon University and local clients. Recently, Fellows consulted with campus food services on selecting a name for a coffee shop in the new Koury Business Center.

Elon Experiences Grant:

All Business Fellows receive a $1,000 grant to support research, service, leadership, an internship or an international experience.

Professional Internship:

Fellows complete at least one internship—a valuable opportunity to get real-world business experience before your first job.
