Program Benefits
Scholarships: All 50 Elon College Fellows receive scholarships valued at $3,500 annually. This is in addition to any Presidential Scholarship awarded, bringing total scholarship award potential to $8,000 annually, or $32,000 over four years. One Elon College Fellow, who intends to major in the social sciences with preference given to a student planning to major in history, will be named a Myrtle Patterson Delp and Robert Worley Delp scholar.
Two $3,000 Jane Macon Baird scholarships will be awarded each year to either Honors or Elon College Fellows who intend to go to medical school and who design their undergraduate curriculum to support that goal. These scholarships are also renewable annually, provided students meet the criteria for the scholarship. A special essay is required for consideration for the Baird Scholarships.
