Residentially Linked Courses

Faculty may elect to teach a Core Curriculum course linked to a specific living-learning community (LLC) and/or residential neighborhood, with students in the course coming from a shared residential community. This teaching opportunity enables faculty to incorporate out-of-class activities happening in the studentsā€™ neighborhoods and/or LLCs into the syllabus, to be part of a community of faculty and staff supporting the same group of students, and to open doors to potential engagement with students outside of class. Faculty who have taught intentionally linked courses indicate high levels of satisfaction, improved student engagement, and connections with students that extend across terms.
